By installing and using Reliefr (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.

What the app does

Reliefr delivers personalized jokes as notifications based on your profile, calendar, and (optionally) biometric data from a wearable, including heart rate and sleep quality. Jokes range from clean to dark humor — you control the level via the humor slider.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reliefr. On first launch, you are required to acknowledge that you are 18 or older and that you consent to receiving adult humor content. This acknowledgement is logged as described in our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you must not use this app.

Content nature

Reliefr contains humor that may include adult themes, dark humor, sexual innuendo, crude language, and content that some users may find offensive or inappropriate. This is a core feature of the app, not a bug.

You control the intensity of content through the humor darkness slider in Settings. At lower levels, content is milder; at higher levels, content may be significantly more mature or provocative. Even at lower darkness levels, some jokes may occasionally contain mature language or themes.

By using Reliefr, you accept that you have actively chosen to receive this type of content. The platform, its developers, and contributors bear no liability for jokes that you find offensive, inappropriate, or unsuitable — particularly when you have selected a higher content intensity level.

Content warning

We don't guarantee every joke will land. If you find a joke offensive, dislike it — our algorithm learns from ratings and will avoid similar ones for you.

Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this app.
• You acknowledge that you have been informed of and consent to the nature of the content delivered by this app.
• If you submit jokes, you confirm they are your own creation or not subject to copyright restrictions, and you grant Reliefr the right to display them in the app.
• Do not submit hateful, harassing, illegal, or explicitly sexual content. Submissions are manually reviewed and may be rejected. You can see the current status of every joke you have submitted — pending, accepted, or rejected with a short reason — in the “Your submissions” section of the Submit screen.

Our responsibilities

• We try to keep the app working, but we make no guarantees of uptime or availability.
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
• We are not responsible for any emotional, professional, or social consequences of jokes delivered at inconvenient moments.

Free use

Reliefr is free. There are no in-app purchases. Voluntary tips via Ko-fi are appreciated but not required.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from its use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
